      Sensual Tying
The intention behind this class is to explore the erotic potential of floorwork.
At it's heart, what makes kinbaku such a powerful erotic artform is how consciously it revolves around the
act of giving and receiving control, and the heightened states of arousal created when giving the act such
profound attention.
This attention is often described as objectifying, occilating between cruel and attectionate ways.
Furthermore, kinbaku is infused with uniquely fetishistic qualities;
the way rope grips and asserts force on the body, how it moves across the skin, and in bodily positions
we associate with certain emotional charge.
In this class a few relatively simple ties will be taught, using 1-4 ropes each, to research the importance
of the manner in which we approach our partner to provoke and preserve sensual tension, through the
quality of touch and physical manipulation when tying.
This workshop is not meant to tell truths about how to feel, or what dynamic an erotic tying session
should contain, but to give tools and inspiration to play.
Tamandua (He, him)
Swedish kinbaku instructor and rope switch based in Berlin, Germany. He has been working with rope professionally since 2016, offering intimate sessions, and travelling the world to teach his perspective on tying and being tied.
He is a queer person, who appreciates tying with people of various gender. As a switch, he draws inspiration both from the models/bottoms he has tied with, and the riggers/tops he has modelled for, which has let him experience various styles from the inside the ropes
‘I consider kinbaku to be a complex erotic art, which is empathetically sadomasochistic at it's core.
Often tying in a way that can be challenging both for the one tying and the one in the ropes, my shibari usually demands a lot of technical clarity when in the role of a teacher. At the same time, the student’s individuality is a priority when it comes to learning methods and intention.
I view kinbaku as a practice of continuous exploration – where new doors open as your go deeper and further with a partner, over the course of a session, or over the course of a long partnership. Sometimes though, the magic that defines inbaku can be just that one alluring image that sticks with you, a moment suspended in time.
For me, the essence of kinbaku lies in the meeting between the aesthetic expression and the emotional and sensual intention of the practice. And the more ones tying develop, the more seamlessly the parts can intermingle.’

      Tamandua Intensive Weekend
This weekend Tamandua is visiting to share his personal approach to Kinbaku, using some of his used ties and techniques.
During the workshop Tamandua will introduced some ties that when done correctly, allow the top to easily control how intense they are for the bottom.
A primary focus is learning to execute ties in such a way that it does not bother the bottom unintentionally.
The idea is to develop more confidence to play, including in the realm of semenawa – tormenting rope.
Guidance on how to tiee and get tied more fluently, in a more natural feeling way, using body/rope management and communicative cues, will be a big part of the learning material for both tops/riggers and bottoms/models.
We will reflect on how these factors play into the “soft skills” of rope bondage, and into the power exchange principles of erotically tormenting rope.
Technically, each tie is introduced through getting familiar with the basic building blocks which it is made up of. By learning the technical details of the harnesses used, and exploring how they feel and function under load of suspension, and simpler applications.
As the final exercise each day, this collected knowledge gets put to the test when we enjoy a longer and (for top and bottom) more challenging tie.
This workshop involves using suspension lines on a bamboo.

Requirements:
- Both tops/riggers AND bottoms/models need to have prior experience with suspension.
- Riggers need to know well how to make and lock suspension lines safely, and know these techniques by heart.
This knowledge must have been acquired from learning with an instructor. Video or self taught is not enough.
- Part of the class content includes learning and using TK. To be able to follow all of the content, being able to be in such an arm posi/on is necessary. Other harnesses will be taught as well.
- This workshop is designed for one person to learn on their model. Switching rolls is not allowed.
- For couples, no solo participants.
Please review your skills before applying.
What to bring?
- A kit of ropes suitable for shibari specifically: single ply jute ropes around 6mm thick.
Minimum 7 ropes cut to be around 8 meters long each + 2 random shorter lengths for when you need to add a little extra to finish a patern. Sex shop or hardware store ropes are not suited for the type of tying taught this weekend. Ignoring this advice WILL disadvantage you in the workshop.
- Cloth strips of a good size to be used as a gag tied around the head. For example tenugui type towel.
- We will be tying on the floor, and we have yoga matts and pillows but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
- If you like to take notes: a notebook and pen.
- Comfortable clothes in which you can move freely, tank tops or shorts are ideal, or any yoga/sport clothes.

      Rope Salon November
Join us, let’s tie!
Our Salon is a cosy mix of social and play.
Come solo or with a rope partner and follow the pull of connection.
Tie, be tied or switch roles, you are invited to follow your own rhythm.
Ropes are our love language.
What to expect?

Afterwards, we ease into a warm-up activity, something light and grounding to help everyone settle in, whether it’s rope-based or a simple communication practice.
From there, the studio opens up for free rope play. The lights dim, the music softens, and you're invited to explore in the way that feels right for you. Our space is equipped with bamboo and single suspension points. If suspension is part of your practice, please bring your own ring.
Important!
This rope evening is open to everyone. All identities, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome. As a queer, BIPOC-led studio, we encourage you to engage with others respectfully and with care, helping to create a space where freedom of expression and playful rope exploration can thrive.
Take a moment to check in with yourself and your partners. Notice your physical boundaries, your emotional state, and the kind of connection you’re open to sharing that evening. Rope interactions are a shared experience, with responsibility for safety and enjoyment held equally by both people. Clear communication, mutual care, and active consent make the experience meaningful and safe for everyone involved.
You’re encouraged to move at your own pace, speak your boundaries, and engage in ways that feel grounded and safe. We ask that you only use techniques you feel confident in and approach each interaction with trust and respect.

      Drawing Bondage
Join us for our Life Drawing session, a space where the worlds of BDSM and art come together.
This event is about exploring the visual and emotional impact of rope, form, and connection, all through your own creative lens.
What to expect?

      TK Lab
This class focuses on the theoretical foundations of the TK, a fundamental shibari tie.
The TK is versatile and incorporates many essential elements, such as tension, body mechanics, frictions, and safety considerations.
Gorgone emphasizes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach due to differences in style, priorities, body types, and needs.Key topics covered include:
•  Variations of the TK: Exploring different styles and adaptations based on individual requirements.
•  Safety and Placement: Understanding nerve safety and effective rope placement to avoid injuries.
•  Building Blocks of Rope Bondage: Learning how the TK integrates core techniques like tension control and body manipulation.
•   Insights from experience: Gorgone shares over a decade of knowledge in practicing and refining this tie.
This class sets the stage for practical applications by providing a comprehensive understanding of the TK’s structure and purpose.
Gorgone
(she/they) is a French rope switch and co-founder of Shibari Study.
Their method and approach to rope is deeply influenced by their interest and personal practice of conscious movement together with 10+ years of intense professional experience on both sides of the rope.
Their teaching is directed to both riggers and models, guiding them into developing active, conscious and efficient partnerships in order to create safer and more successful rope experiences.
She takes time to deconstruct everything she teaches, from the most basic to the most complex ties, and always addresses both the rope’s and body’s mechanics of a tie or position. Her pedagogy focuses on encouraging and developing technical autonomy, freedom and creativity in the student’s practice while maintaining a fundamental background of safety, knowledge and awareness.
With Gorgone you will not only learn the ‘how’ but also the ‘why’ behind each tie so you can adapt or modify a harness or position to each new partner and situation and fully incorporate it into your own unique practice.
The heart of Gorgone's tying and teaching is the idea that Shibari is not about "rope - on the body” but about "the body - in rope".

      Dynamic Bodies
This is a full day workshop addressed to riggers and models interested in exploring dynamic suspensions and transitions.
The content of this weekend focuses on a more acrobatic and athletic approach to rope suspension. The sequences are fast paced, technically challenging and physically taxing for the models.
The program aims to help both riggers and models develop mutual awareness and autonomy in order to successfully support each other in the process of executing a more dynamic and challenging suspension sequence. The goal is to learn how to use and enjoy various states of mind-body such as tension and relaxation, stress positions and resting positions, autonomous movement and surrender…
(NOTE: Advanced Workshop - Riggers should master suspension line management before attending this class; the sequences are challenging and models should not suffer unnecessarily because riggers hesitate with their up-lines.)

      Chaotic Bodies
Torment, Pleasure and Courage
This is an advanced workshop focusing on exploring a more extreme and tortuous approach to rope. The modules of this class are less generic and demand from both part a stronger sense of adaptation to less predictable structures.
This workshop is more challenging for the body-mind, playing and experimenting with more painful and chaotic structures and processes. While «Fly Strong» and «Dynamic Bodies» focus on understanding the body in order to navigate within its limits and optimise comfort and predictability, the goal here is to 'negotiate with the body-mind‘ in order to push it closer or beyond its limits.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Advanced Workshop- Riggers should master suspension line management before attending this class. Riggers and models should have experience tying together and feel comfortable sharing exercises focusing on the eroticising of suffering and vulnerability.

      Self-tying for Beginners
Self-tying was my introduction to rope bondage, and I began exploring it as a way to manage anxiety, reconnect with my body, and ease daily stress.
I was surprised by the mindfulness and calm that emerged from the practice-focusing on the rope and my breath brought me into the present moment, helping to quiet my mind and reduce tension.
The sensations of the rope often felt grounding, almost like a gentle embrace, and offered a unique sense of comfort and control. Practicing on myself first gave me confidence, a better understanding of safety, of tension, patterns, and technique.
This class offers a supportive space to start your own practice. Whether you’re interested in self-tying for personal exploration or want to build confidence before tying with others, you’ll find opportunities to develop your skills, connect with your body, and experience the unique mindfulness that rope can bring.
Join me in this class, and let's explore together all the different benefits that a self-tying rope bondage practice can offer.
Papi
Workshop’s content:
- Basics of ties, knots, frictions, you'll receive expert guidance on achieving the right tension.
- Exploring techniques and freestyle for every part of our body.
- We will integrate breathing, self awareness and grounding exercises.

      Performance Study
We are excited about this weekend’s intensive workshop.
The studio aims not only to teach intimacy practices such as Shibari but also to explore the artistic expression that emerges when these practices become art.
Performance Study is Massimo’s direct and effective proposal for those interested in learning how to create impactful performances for different levels of experience and ideas.
Join us!
Pauline Massimo (they/them)
Interdisciplinary artist and teacher from the Amazon region, Brazil, who founded Espacio Nos, Learn Shibari, and other varied projects.
With over 13 years of professional experience in the field of art, from painting, dance, performance, photography, and Shibari to event curation, space management, education, community building, and artistic direction in recent years.
Pauline has extensive experience working with many styles of performance and educational methodologies applied to Shibari for clients ranging from international festivals, art galleries, macro-parties, variety cabarets, small intimate spaces, individuals, self-organisation, etc., from which she has developed her own style after much experience and research in these fields.
With an extensive and prestigious career providing education and performances internationally, including but not limited to: Opera Garnier, Salle Pleyel, Place des Cordes, Auberhaus in Paris; Karada House, EURIX, German Fetish Ball, in Berlin; Espacio Nos, audiovisual production with Shakira, Hans & Fritz Contemporary, in Barcelona, Spain; Uma Obscura in Umeå, Sweden; Anatomie Studio, Bound, Torture Garden, in London; Prague Shibari Festival; Torture Garden in Zurich, Shibari Camp in Sweden, Wasteland Party, Ellipsis in the Netherlands; Estudio Jorogumo and Granada Semillero de arte in Mexico City; Kintsugi Rope Collective in Costa Rica, AEFEST in Medellín, Colombia; Velours Noir in Martinique; Pauline has also travelled throughout Spain to present their performances and workshops, to Istanbul, Turkey, as well as several tours to different cities in Brazil, and various online events such as the Queerope festival organised by Karada House and VoxBody in Oakland.
Programme
Idea to Research: The idea is the first step into creating a performance or any project. We will discuss how ideas occur and how to catch them effectively, understanding its true meaning to enter the research step to deepen our performance foundation. Understanding better those two phases will lay a strong ground for an impactful final piece.
Methodology: Every artist has a different approach to their projects. We aim to analyse different types of methodologies in order to choose the most favourable ones that work for each one of us, including how we can collaborate with others in our projects, which is common and fundamental for successful pieces.
References: Having clear and matured references for our works will give a sustainable body of works over the years on each project. Understanding that there is nothing new, how wecan become more creative and original without inventing the wheel but going deeper into our references and motivations for a genuine and authentic piece.
Craft study: Analysing the intentions of our ideas, the direction we want to push forward for our performative projects will lead us towards an effective study of our own crafts. A constant learning with purpose and finding enrichment in our education and knowledge that can bring stability on the project walls.
Technicalities: To create a performance there is an enormous amount of technicalities that happens in many spaces and working environments, being prepared and having an idea how many of those system works, we can approach each project with efficiency, professionalism, as well with a strong work ethic that benefits our projects and ideas to come true. We will also discuss the professional aspects of entering the work environment ofperformance art as artists.
Practice: Without hands-on practice, we will not be able to materialise our ideas and grow them, leaving them as purely ideas floating in minds and papers that don't come to action. One of the most important aspects of this workshop is to give the participants the opportunity to explore their abilities and space for experimentation using the knowledge and tools shared along the workshop.
While during the workshop Pauline will go over those topics, it’s important to understand the organic flow that needs to be allowed during the programme being presented, instead of pushing a strict narrative and ticking boxes. Pauline rather approaches this workshop proposition with flexibility and work with both the group dynamic as well as each individual having their own needs and curiosities to work with.
There will be a good amount of topics being presented theoretically and in the discussion base, but there will also be plenty of hands-on exercises to give participants a realistic sense of how we can take the theory into a practical reality, so then be able to take it into the “stage”.
This will be an active workshop, where Pauline proposes the participants to present a performance as a final project. Participants will have the opportunity to present their final
project performance in two ways:
1- They can choose to perform only for the other workshop participants at the end of the workshop.
2- Participants can be part of an organised separated event happening on Sunday evening after the end of the workshop (with a break in between). In which they can showcase their skills and ideas to a wider public.
The option 2 is not mandatory, but option 1 is mandatory. Participants can choose doing both options but is recommended to choose only one for a better development of the whole programme.
Pauline advises participants to not attempt coming up with a fixed performance idea and try to impose it on the final presentation project. But instead, come with flexibility and open minded to adapt to the circumstances and Pauline’s guidance over the weekend.
The teacher will be in charge of giving tips and guidance for the participants who choose their performance presentation modality, and they will structure both the option 1 and 2 depending on the participants ideas, skills and overall balance to create a memorable experience for all. Of which, participants are invited to attempt to leave behind close minded, rigid structure and mindset, excessive shyness and excessive fear.
It’s understandable that stage shyness and fear are normal and we will be working in different strategies to overcome and work around and with those sentiments and possibilities to make the best of our experiences.
This offer is aimed at all people with or without experience in any type of performance art. It will also be suitable for participants who have no experience with Shibari or other practices but are interested in learning about Pauline's methodology in the field of art. This is not strictly a Shibari workshop or Shibari focused, but a multi-talented and muilti-interested artistic approach.
Shibari enthusiasts are more than welcome as well as other artists and wannabe artists/creatives of any type of backgrounds.
What to bring?
Regardless of what practice you use for performance or your interest, it’s important that you bring any and all materials that you feel necessary to practice and use in this workshop related to the performance style and type you want.
Examples: For Shibari artists; ropes, suspension equipment if needed, safety equipment, etc.; For Circus artists; aerial or circus equipment, safety equipment, etc.; For clowns; Clown materials and clothes, etc.; For dancers; clothing and props you might need for dance, etc.
Come with an open mind, it might happen that you change your mind, or maybe you get inspired towards a new and different direction, you might come with the idea to do it solo and end up forming a group, etc. All is consensual and discussed with openness and caution.
Pauline offers spaces and moments during the workshop for exploration and experimentation that one might be scared and insecure about, they push students to be more daring and create from the heart, but with no intention to impose, force or coercion.
Participants are free to not participate in exercises that they are not comfortable with, as well ask for adaptations that fits their needs better.
You are asked to come prepared and willing to participate. Some past participants came with photographs, movies, books, flowers, magazines, masks, multiple costumes, atrezzo, objects of inspiration to work with, blankets, teddy bears, etc.
You are welcome to bring what you feel fitting, understanding you might use them or not, but it will be great to have them at hand, no need to overpack and overload with stuff. The most important thing is to have some basic things and bring yourself fully, consciously and excited. Ideas and inspirations will come along the way.
It’s highly recommendable to bring materials to note and build your study during the workshop. Paper note pads are usually necessary as well. You can bring a tablet or laptop, or use your phone. Self recording will be minimal and occasional with clear instructions.
This will be a deep study, research and for self development workshop, not a content creation event. Pauline will ask for permission for filming and photographing students while practising for personal use and development post workshop.
Requirements:
No specific requirements. Minimum knowledge and practice with the practice the participant wants to integrate on their performance, either theatre, Shibari, dance, circus, etc.
It is important that participants understand the limitations of their levels and apply the new knowledge learned as well as the exercises suggested at their level, under Pauline's recommendations and suggestions for each case.

      What’s my risk profile?
What’s My Risk Profile?
An exploration of risk, harm and desire
Rope often involves some risk: physical, emotional, relational, or even social. Most of the time, we prefer not to think about it.
In this workshop, we do the opposite: we look directly at the risks we take, and explore how to feel empowered approaching them with awareness and not avoidance.
With stories, demos, and lots of practical tools and skills rooted in a harm reduction perspective, you’ll leave with new ideas on why and how you take risks, and strategies to support yourself when things don’t go as planned.
Tut (they/he)
Berlin-based Shibari teacher and curator of KOR Studio, a space weaving ropes, care, and community.
Trained as a psychotherapist (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie), they work with trauma through experiential and emotion-focused methods, with a strong commitment to the queer community.
His background in harm reduction shapes his approach to rope: grounding, attentive, and oriented toward safety. As a trans practitioner, Tut brings both personal and professional depth to creating spaces where bodies, emotions, and ties can meet with curiosity.

      Rope Salon
Join us, let’s tie!
Our Salon is a cosy mix of social and play.
Come solo or with a rope partner and follow the pull of connection.
Tie, be tied or switch roles, you are invited to follow your own rhythm.
Ropes are our love language.
What to expect?
We begin with a brief introduction circle to see who’s in the room and what people feel open to that night. This helps set the tone and create a shared sense of awareness.
Doors open at 18:30 and will close at 19:00. Please make sure to arrive on time, as entry won’t be possible once the doors are closed.

      Drawing Bondage
Join us for our Life Drawing session, a space where the worlds of BDSM and art come together.
This event is about exploring the visual and emotional impact of rope, form, and connection, all through your own creative lens.
What to expect?
Shibari, the Japanese art of rope bondage, is more than technique it’s about connection, consent, and creative expression. These sessions offer a chance to observe and capture the unique relationship between rigger and model, and the powerful mix of vulnerability, strength, and beauty that emerges
During the session, David will guide the drawing process while Papi works with the ropes together with a gorgeous female model.
You’ll have the chance to sketch a range of dynamic poses, from floor work to half and full suspensions. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, you’ll find inspiration in the interplay between body, rope, and atmosphere.
This is not a class, but a guided drawing experience. David will be on hand to offer feedback and suggestions as you work.
Bring your favorite drawing materials-pencils, colored pencils, or digital devices are all welcome.
We recommend comfortable clothing so you can focus on your art.
Your first drink is on us, so settle in and enjoy the creative energy. We aim to foster a relaxed, respectful environment where everyone can explore and express themselves

      Fly Strong
This program was designed to help build/restore confidence in the model’s body and capabilities as well as reinforcing the rigger’s understanding of rope-body mechanics in suspension.
It is ideal for riggers and models new to suspension or feeling stuck in their progress due to insecurities on either side of the rope.
The main focus of this workshop is the research for the optimal use of the body in ropes and how to achieve 'comfortable' suspensions, concentrating on positional studies rather than complex sequences.
The goal is to develop more awareness, confidence and autonomy in both partners in order to achieve stronger partnerships and more rewarding experiences.
For whom is this workshop?

- Important skills required for this workshop: Practitioners that are able to do partial suspension and are confident doing suspension lines.

      Motion and Intention
This is a floor-based workshop mixing rope techniques and movement/embodiment practices.
Gorgone and her model will discuss and demonstrate the importance of posture, movement, body language and spatiality in a rope session.
How you choose to place yourself around your partner, finding your points of balance and imbalance, exploring each other's centre of gravity and being intentional about how you move your own and your partner's body will greatly affect the mood of your rope scenes.
Everyone's body and mobility is different, so it is important to explore and develop your own language. This class doesn't aim to tell you what to do or not to do, but rather to invite you to explore this communication tool and find what works for you and your partners.
Shibari can be highly technical and intricate but before losing ourselves in the fancy techniques, we should remember that bondage can also be a sensual, playful and emotional practice.
It is not about "rope - on the body" but about "the body - in rope

      Bedroom Bondage
Gorgone’s workshop w
elcomes to the sultry side of shibari.
In this 3-hour workshop, Gorgone invites you into an intimate exploration of rope for sex, intimacy, and power play in the bedroom.
This is a space for curiosity, joy, and unapologetic kink, designed for couples, play partners, or solo rope lovers ready to get close, dirty, and creative.
We’ll begin with a strap-on rope harness, a quick and effective build for gender play and control. Then, we’ll move into chest ties designed for laying down, emphasizing comfort, exposure, and aesthetics.
Next, we’ll explore playful ties for teasing, revealing, and restraining ties for sexual play and S&M scenarios, with variations for use on the floor or in partial suspension.
We’ll finish by exploring rope as accent and extension, binding hair, face, fingers, toes, and crotch to create heightened sensation, vulnerability, and delicious tension.
Expect technical tips, improvisational ideas, and lots of filthy inspiration.

Iridescent Evening hosted by Gorgone & Papilicious
We open the evening with a unique performance by Gorgone, with Papi as her rope model.
It marks Gorgone’s return to the stage after a long pause, and only the second time Papi steps into the role of rope model.
After Papi is set free, the studio shifts into a warm and playful space for exploration, connection, and shared intimacy.
Join us for this rare and special performance and immerse yourself in a connective and intimate experience. It is a splendid opportunity to explore rope bondage and any complementary BDSM practices in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Our approach to a fulfilling rope experience emphasizes communication as a crucial element.
We wencourage participants to engage in conversation before play, speak up during scenes, and check in afterward.
Respecting boundaries is paramount, know your limits, honour others’, and remember that it’s always acceptable to say “no” or “not today.”
We view rope play and any other BDSM practice as a collaborative effort, with both rigger/top and bottom sharing responsibilities, looking out for each other, and fostering a supportive atmosphere.
By adhering to this approach, we can fully appreciate the joy, connection, and creativity that BDSM/rope play can bring, ensuring our knots and scenes are meaningful.
This event is suitable for absolute beginners to experienced practitioners and different tying styles.
You are welcome by yourself or with your own partner.
The event is not a workshop, there will be not teaching provided.
We will have bamboos and single suspension points.
What to bring?

      Rope Salon August Editions
Join us, let’s tie!
Our Salon is a cosy mix of social and play.
Come solo or with a rope partner and follow the pull of connection.
Tie, be tied or switch roles, you are invited to follow your own rhythm.
Ropes are our love language.
What to expect?
We begin with a brief introduction circle to see who’s in the room and what people feel open to that night. This helps set the tone and create a shared sense of awareness.
Doors open at 18:30 and will close at 19:00. Please make sure to arrive on time, as entry won’t be possible once the doors are closed.

      Drawing Bondage
July’s session is here!

      Rope Salon June Editions
Join us, let’s tie!
You’re warmly invited to an evening of rope, connection, and quiet exploration.
Rope Salon is a relaxed, social space where you can come with a partner or arrive open to meeting someone new.
Whether you're here to tie, be tied, or switch roles, you're welcome to explore at your own pace.
Ropes are our love language!
What to expect?
We begin with a brief introduction circle to see who’s in the room and what people feel open to that night. This helps set the tone and create a shared sense of awareness.
Doors open at 18:15 and will close at 19:00. Please make sure to arrive on time, as entry won’t be possible once the doors are closed.
What to bring?
- Your own ropes, if you are tying.
- Suspension gear, rings, carabiners, extra slings , etc.

This workshop offers a supportive space to start your own practice.
Papi

- Basics of ties, knots, frictions, you'll receive expert guidance on achieving the right tension.
- Exploring techniques and freestyle for every part of our body.

For who is this workshop?
- Folks with no experience or that want to explore tying on their own body.
- This is a solo tying workshop, but feel free to come with a friend if you wish. All the content is designed to practice on your own body.
- For folks that are interested in learning Shibari inspired rope bondage techniques.

      Rope Salon
Join us, let’s tie!
This is a social event, designed for you to tie with your own partner or with new rope-minded people.
The perfect open studio setting to explore, practice and connect in an inclusive queer-led environment.
If it is in your practise, our lovely studio have several suspension points, bamboo and single points (bring your own suspension ring).
With our splendid music taste and cosy lighting we will set the mood for a great rope evening together.
Ropes are our love language!
What to expect?
We start the evening with a quick introduction circle. It works as a quick forecast to know who’s in the mood for rigging, being tied up, or switching.
It is always fun to start with a group activity to break the ice and warm up. These activities can be either rope- or communication-oriented. After this, we indulge in rope play: lights get cozier, music volume goes up, and we tie.
Important.
Consent and negotiation are super sexy. We are diving into an activity in which the responsibility is divided 50/50, and your partner can only know as much as you share with them.
Know your boundaries not only related to intimacy and play but also physically. We can have the more fun when we guide our partners with clear communication.
Last but no least, play onlky with techniques you are familiar with, we only play safe.
What to bring?
- Your own Ropes
- Other gear you want to play with
- Comfortable clothes in which you can move freely, tank tops or shorts are ideal, or any yoga/sport clothes. you are allowed to tie topless, bottoms stay on.

      Drawing Bondage
We are back?
Join us for our Life Drawing session, a space where the worlds of BDSM and art come together.
This event is about exploring the visual and emotional impact of rope, form, and connection, all through your own creative lens.
What to expect?
Shibari, the Japanese art of rope bondage, is more than technique it’s about connection, consent, and creative expression. These sessions offer a chance to observe and capture the unique relationship between rigger and model, and the powerful mix of vulnerability, strength, and beauty that emerges
During the session, David will guide the drawing process while Papi works with the ropes together with a gorgeous male model.

      Playful Ropes
Ropes are a great way to connect with each other.
Just two bodies and some rope create a space for intimacy.
But there are also many ways to connect rope bondage to other intimate practices!
In this workshop we focus on using ropes to play with other tools and practices: we focus on manipulating the body so that we can incorporate other sensations, like impact play, playing with power dynamics, and using ropes to build up to sex.
Playful Ropes is a workshop to bring your rope bondage practice to a more connective, playful, or sexual level. Starting from basic ties, we will explore different shapes to play with our partner’s body.
Workshop’s content:
- Safety and consent: basic risk assessments and discussing how to play safely and navigate consent when you start incorporating other practices into your bondage practice (both verbally and physically)
- Knots and frictions: technical information on knots and frictions that we will be using in the rest of the workshop
- Shapes: we will explore the ways we can use rope to create different shapes with our partner’s body, in order to play with elements like exposure, shame, pain, objectification, and sexual interaction.
- We will go through several demo’s of ties that you will have time to practice, and we will end with some time to play with your partner, combining different elements from the workshop.
- Although this workshop is directed at some sexual practices, this is not a sexual (play) space. There is no nudity or sexual engagement in the workshop space, but we will explore safe ways that you may combine later in your personal practice.
For whom is this workshop?
- You have to know a solid single column tie, and be familiar with basic frictions (you should be up to speed if you have followed our Ropes for Beginners workshop!).
- This workshop is also suitable if you’ve been tying for longer, but wish to gain more fluidity and intention to your rope sessions, and start combining other elements.
- This workshop is only for couples, a rigger and a model, for a smooth workshop experience these roles do not change during the workshop. It is not possible to take part as a solo participant.
What to bring?
- You will need 4 full length ropes (8 meters each) and 2 half length.
- We will be tying on the floor, and we have yoga matts and pillows but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
- If you like to take notes: a notebook and pen.

- A bottle of water (leak proof) and some snacks.
- A pair of sandals/flip flops to get to the toilet, since they are not directly inside the studio.

      Rope for Romantics
Fluency with the body allows for storytelling. In a fun and carefree environment, we will cover the core positions of our practice and undertake exercises to understand your partner's body.
Play is at the heart of this practice and will open up areas for creativity and exploration.
We will explore mindful movement focusing on listening to your partner and tuning into their natural rhythm.
When we feel in sync with our partners, movement becomes intuitive. It then becomes possible to modulate the quality of touch to communicate an emotion or feeling with each gesture.
The gestures and movements created will act as phrases and will be used to weave a non-linguistic narrative
Our approach emphasizes consent, communication, and mutual respect with a focus on using consent as a tool for compassion.
This one-day workshop has been co-devised by Conor and Eveline and presents a personal and intimate look into their approach to rope at the intersection of performance and romance. Regularly using themes of tenderness, anticipation and longing, their practice pairs the performative aspects of play with dynamic and considered movement. This workshop will explore the theatre of movement and how body manipulation and somatic composition are essential to unlocking and exploring the juicy, hypnotic emotional landscapes of rope.
The workshop will be predominantly floor-based, using just a few ropes to explore the nuances of this emotional landscape.
Conor Aphilia (he, they, his)
Shibari-focused SWer, educator, and the owner of Aphilia Studio in London. His practice integrates rope as an extension of his broader k1nk interests, using it to explore nuanced and often challenging emotional and physical states. Regularly working with beginners and those new to the practice, his body-centric and intentional approach is shaped by professional experience, ensuring that each encounter is a dialogue rather than a predetermined experience. For Conor, Shibari is a tool for physical communication, where aesthetics, compositions, and patterns are guided by the needs of the scene and the individuals involved. His work prioritizes safety, exploration, and the creation of new emotional spaces in which people can navigate their experiences with excitement and care.
Informed by the techniques and aesthetics of Japanese masters, Conor has developed an inclusive style that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds. His years of study have led to a distinctive blend of Western and Eastern influences, further shaped by his background in design. This evolving approach to rope play transcends traditional boundaries, celebrating diversity and fostering deeper connections through sensuality, trust, and artistic expression.
Eveline
Drawn to the beauty and perversion of struggle, Eveline was captivated by Shibari—a language of tension, control, and surrender that spoke to her in ways nothing else could. Her six years in the kink scene have been a journey of exploration, transformation, and deep connection, with rope becoming the most profound expression of her desires. With a background in dance, movement is instinctual, and in rope, she doesn’t just endure—she moves, plays, and breathes within the constraints. Her performances are a delicate balance of resistance and release, sensuality and suffering, where each tie speaks of longing, defiance, and the raw vulnerability of surrender.
For whom is this workshop?
- This workshop is not suitable for absolute beginners; fluency in single-column and the basics of rope handling are minimum requirements.
- Riggers learning together with their model, no switching rolls during the workshop.
- The workshop offers valuable information for both model and rigger.
What to bring?
- Your own set of ropes 5 to 7 full length and 2 half length.
- We will be practicing on the floor, we have yoga matts, blankets and pillows but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
- Comfortable clothes in which you can move freely, tank tops or shorts are ideal, or any yoga/sport clothes.
- If you like to take notes: a notebook and pen.
- A bottle of water (leak proof) and some snacks.
- A pair of sandals/flip flops to get to the toilet, since they are not directly inside the studio.
